Matt and Rachel serve as the lead pastors of Forerunner. With over 20 years of serving in ministry, they desire to see the Kingdom of God expand in North East North Carolina in greater ways. They were set in as the Senior Pastors of Forerunner Church on October 7th of 2017. They desire for all ages to be equipped, trained, and encouraged forward in the presence of God.

Apostles Phil & Kathy Dowdy served at Forerunner Church as the Lead Pastors for 23 Years. Phil has become a pastors pastor and has a heart to raise up leaders that will carry the presence of God to every part of their community. Apostles Phil & Kathy continue to advance the Kingdom of God through ministry, oversight, and the equipping of leadership.
